Food service

A kitchen that does not stop at the evening peak.

Fryers, freezers and POS draw power all day. FluidPod keeps them on through the outage and through the tariff peak, without a genset warming up outside.

The problem

A QSR outlet runs fryers, freezers, exhaust fans, coffee equipment and POS through service hours. The load is steady and unforgiving: a two-minute gap costs a batch, a queue and a review. A genset covers the gap expensively and starts with a delay the kitchen does not have.

The configuration

One FluidPod sits between the grid and the outlet distribution board. Critical circuits — POS, freezers, lighting — are wired to the protected side. Fryers and HVAC are tiered so the reserve is not spent on comfort loads during a long outage. Installation is a single visit with no civil work.

The rollout

Start with one outlet. Once the load profile is measured, the same configuration is repeated by outlet format: counter-service, dine-in, or a dark kitchen. A chain gets a standard bill of materials and one dashboard across cities.
